The concept behind these books was to showcase the incredible breadth of independent businesses across the UK, all through the lens of our enduring love of beautiful interiors. I tracked down the best independent lifestyle stores for PLACES to Shop and uncovered the most stylish stays across the country for PLACES to Stay, organising each book into clear regional sections. I sourced or commissioned all photography and wrote every word of the copy. Both titles were self-published and stocked widely in the UK and internationally. Due to continued demand, updated editions were released in 2025.
