I am a freelance editor, writer, blogger and picture editor and I am available to take on commissioned editorial work as well blog collaborations with suitable brands.

Editing, Writing and Blogging

I am able to undertake magazine editing and commissioning duties as well as writing or guest blogging commissions. I have a wide knowledge of the interiors, lifestyle and crafts industries and have a black book bursting with contacts. Get in touch to discuss features and rates.

Picture editing

I began my career as a picture editor and since going freelance have continued to carry out picture research jobs for book publishers and magazines. I have lots of experience in commissioning, briefing and working with photographers. I am proficient in both Adobe Photoshop and InDesign and have a wide knowledge of picture libraries as well as managing budgets and clearing rights.

I am currently writing the Home news pages for Project Calm magazine, and write on a monthly basis for In The Moment magazine. I have previously been guest editor on two bookazines for Mollie Makes magazine. I've also worked regularly with Jacqui Small Publishing (who published my book The Shopkeepers Home) and Laurence King Publishing sourcing images for books. 

I have worked with a number of brands on blog collaborations including: Farrow and Ball, Smeg, Dulux, The Lounge Co, Silentnight, Christy Towels, Harlequin, B&Q, Argos, DFS, Carpetright, ao.com, made.com, Wayfair, Voga, BHS,  Stencilit, Debenhams, eFrame, Homebase, Rewined Candles and First Direct bank.

In addition, I have spoken at various events, such as Blogtacular, Crafty Fox Talks, Paper Girls and Cybher.
